Foundation
Introduction
The Korea Financial Industry Foundation is the only
labor-management partnered social contribution foundation
in which the financial labor and management
jointly invest funds and jointly run the Foundation.
Hello.
I am Joo Wan, President of the Korea Financial Industry Foundation.
Our foundation is the world's only joint social contribution foundation of labor and management in the financial industry,
established by labor and management of 33 financial institutions centered on the banking sector.
Since our inception on October 4, 2018,
we have been dedicated to creating social value and contributing to a sustainable society by support the financial
and social vulnerabilities at local and abroad.
Our efforts span six core areas of social contribution: inclusive and responsible finance,
community and public interest, global initiatives, climate sustainability, academic and educational advancement,
and the promotion of culture, arts, and sports.
We are committed to fulfilling our role as a guide in the practice of social solidarity and responsibility.
Through these diverse initiatives,
we strive to contribute to achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and
build a prosperous and inclusive society in Korea where everyone can grow and thrive together.
We humbly ask for your continued interest and support as we work toward a better future for all.
Thank you.
